Cleaning Industry Management Standard is a standard of excellence designed to help building service contractors and in-house providers develop quality, customer-centered organizations. The CIMS framework is built around the five quality principles that have proven to be the hallmarks of well-managed successful cleaning operations: Quality Systems, Human Resources, Management Commitment, Service Delivery, and Health, Safety and Environmental Stewardship. Certification indicates that a cleaning operation has been evaluated by an independent, third party examiner, and has demonstrated consistent, quality standards designed to meet customers’ needs and expectations.

Through our acquisition of KIMCO, which is CIMS-certified, we are proud to exemplify the quality standards that this rigorous certification entails.
